The cut sheet

Three numbers we cut to, straight off our own spec.

Every job starts as a line on the concrete and ends as a clean edge. These are the limits we work to on commercial, industrial and residential jobs across Alabama and surrounding states. If your plans call for something else, we change to the exact spec.

42in

Core diameter

We will often drill up to 42 inches for the diameter and 50 feet deep, with diamond and carbide bits, and change to the exact spec your plans call for.

50ft

Core depth

Deep runs for electric, plumbing, HVAC, phone and sewer lines, after we test that the concrete structure is safe to work on.

30in

Slab thickness

Hefty riding saws cut through heavy concrete 30 inches thick. Push saws take the small slabs, inside homes and out.

Five cuts

Five ways through concrete, one family business to call.

Core drilling for new lines. Slab, wall and wire sawing for openings and removals. Demolition and hand sawing for the spots a big saw cannot reach. Each one is a different saw, and we bring the one the job needs.

One job, start to swept floor

Cut it, lift it, haul it, sweep it.

We always leave the work area clean and free of damage. Here is what that looks like from the first wet cut to the last pass with the vac.

Cut

Water on the blade

Diamond blades cut wet. The saw is matched to the slab and the room: gas, electric, diesel, hydraulic, propane or Soff Cut.

Saw-cut block of reinforced slab lifted on a chain hoist above its clean rectangular opening

Lift

The piece comes out whole

Reinforced concrete is segmented and lifted out in sections, so what stays behind keeps a straight, square edge.

Haul

Out back, same method

A slab patio gets the same saw and the same care: cut into pieces you can lift, then carried off the yard.

Sweep

Left clean, free of damage

Corners on a wall opening are finished with a cut-n-break saw for the lintel, and the floor is swept before we leave.

We often drill up to 42 inches in diameter and up to 50 feet deep, using diamond and carbide bits, and we can change to the exact size your plans call for. Core drilling is how electric, plumbing, HVAC, phone and sewer lines get placed through concrete.

Push saws handle small slabs, and our riding saws cut through heavy concrete up to 30 inches thick. We run gas, electric, diesel, hydraulic, propane and Soff-Cut saws, so the saw matches the slab and the setting, indoors or out.

Yes. Wall sawing uses a track-mounted, remote-controlled saw that cuts openings for doors, windows, HVAC access and elevator shafts. We cut flush with the slab or a perpendicular wall, avoid over-cuts in the corners, and finish the corners with a cut-n-break saw when a lintel is going in.

When the concrete is too strong, too large or too boxed-in for a blade: steel-encased concrete, retaining walls, heavily reinforced rebar. A diamond wire cuts by abrasion in any direction with minimal vibration and noise, and it even works underwater.

We are based at 828 Demasters Avenue NW in Huntsville and cut concrete across Alabama and surrounding states, for commercial, industrial and residential jobs.
